Our committees are an integral part of NAWBO's activities.
It is through the committees that we establish, advertise and run our programs.
We also support membership and become active in the community through our committees'
efforts.

| Programs |
 |
The programs committee helps create and
implement each monthly meeting’s topic and guest speaker selection.
Our goal is to select topics that support the NAWBO mission and values.
These monthly meetings are valuable to our members, increase our visibility
and enhance our organization to make a difference for women business
owners.

| Membership Committees |
 |
Recruiting, educating, and gaining new members involved in the Lexington
NAWBO chapter develop our chapter growth. The membership committee works
hard to bring in business -women who strengthen and contribute to our membership.
|
 |
Hospitality |
The hospitality committee is responsible for arriving a little early
to monthly meetings and events to personally welcome each guest and member
to the event. They are also integral in welcoming new members to the
chapter each month.
|
| |
Membership-Recruiting |
| |
Contacting and actively seeking our new members to get involved with
our chapter takes a team. This team recruits new members and spreads
the word about our chapter. A dynamic group of smart and engaging women
are ready to discuss business ideas and strategies to public policy issues
impacting women or where to get the best dinner in town. |
| |
Membership-Retention |
| |
We never like to see a member leave so we developed a committee that
would actively stay in contact with members particularly ones who are
becoming less active to see if we can offer support. Our commitment to
our members is very important and we like to know why members leave so
we can either offer support or make improvements to our chapter.

Winner’s Circle Committee |

Every year we hold our Annual Winner’s Circle Awards Banquet.
There are nominations, applications, deadlines, coordination of award
plaques, judging, and other aspects of coordinating our biggest awards
event. It takes a team of volunteers to help make this event a success.
